Foreigners with a passport from following countries cannot apply for a Standard Tourist Visit Visa for Indonesia:
- Afghanistan
- Guinea
- Israel
- Liberia
- Nigeria
- North Korea
- Somalia
In order to enter into Indonesia foreigners from these countries need a so called Calling Visa. Foreigners need to first get authorization from authorities in Indonesia such as: Immigration Department, Police HQ Department, Intelligence Service Department (approval letter). This is a complicated process and one needs to follow all legal regulations. It is not guaranteed whether a visa will be issued and will be decided by the authorities on a case by case basis.
