Traveling with Special Documents
IMPORTANT
This is a special Visit Visa for Tourists (C1)
- who don't have a passport
- but do have a travel document, or refugee status issued by one of the eligible countries. Titre de Voyage (TDV), Refugee Travel Documents, Laissez-Passer
- You can only apply for this Visa if your original citizenship is NOT from following countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Guinea, Israel, Kamerun, Kosovo, Liberia, Nigeria, North Korea, Somalia
Even though this Visa is a Tourist Visit Visa for Indonesia, there are a few differences in how to apply, and what documents are needed.
Travel documents usually assure other governments that the bearer may return to the issuing country, and are often issued in booklet form to allow other governments to place visas as well as entry and exit stamps into them. These documents are often issued to stateless persons and refugees.

Stay in Indonesia:
60 days (extendable)
With this visa you can:
- Conduct activities related to tourism, visiting friends or family, and transit.
- Attend as a participant at meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions.
You must:
- Be staying in Indonesia for visit purposes only.
- Be financially sufficient during your stay in Indonesia.
- Comply with all visa conditions and Indonesia laws.
- Respect local customs, culture, and wisdom.

You can extend this visa
You are prohibited from staying in Indonesia after your stay permit expires.
You are prohibited from carrying out any profit-making activities in any form.
You are prohibited from attending events as a speaker. No paid work!
Performing prohibited activities, not complying with the terms of your visa, and/or not complying with the laws of Indonesia may result in you paying fines, being deported, and/or other legal charges.
Document Requirement
- For holders of travel documents other than passports such as emergency passports, documents of identity, Titre de Voyage, Laisser Passer etc., validity must be AT LEAST 12 months.
- Personal bank statement for the last 3 months (including name, date of period, and balance account). minim. USD 2000
- A recent color photograph.
Visa Validity before Arriving in Indonesisa
This visa must be used to enter Indonesia within a maximum of 90 days from the date of issue.
